Cheltenham's Most Stylish Address
Where Georgian bones meet bold design, and the town is always on your doorstep.
The Story
Tucked behind a canopy of trees in Cheltenham's elegant Pittville quarter, No.38 The Park occupies a handsome Georgian townhouse that has been transformed into one of the Cotswolds' most characterful boutique retreats. Bold statement prints collide with mismatched textures, one-off artworks and carefully curated antiques to create interiors that feel more like a well-travelled friend's home than a hotel — the kind of place where every corner rewards a second glance. The town centre is a mere five-minute stroll, placing Regency architecture, independent boutiques and the celebrated Cheltenham Festival circuit effortlessly within reach.

What they say
“We really enjoyed our stay! We had an Excellent room on the first floor, which was a good size and luxurious. Lots of lovely little touches to make it special! And the staff were attentive, kind and friendly, but kept a discreet presence, so we didn’t feel in any way claustrophobic. Remi is a credit to the hotel! The kitchen was closed while we were there but there are so many excellent restaurants in Cheltenham that we didn’t really notice; breakfast was still served, and it was excellent! Especially the sausages! I would give the location 4.8 because it is a decent walk to the shops and nicer restaurants, which we didn’t mind, but if you’re less able it wouldn’t be ideal.”
“Fabulous 2 night stay at this boutique hotel. Gorgeous rooms and enjoyed a great meal one night. We had an excellent value package (2 nights/Breakfast/Dinner on one night and two coctails). Lots of thoughful touches and the staff were great. It was lovely to be welcomed by the log burning fires at this time of the year (we missed this when on one day they weren’t lit). We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.”
“Such a gorgeous hotel! We were greated warmly and showed to our room - roll top bath, super comfy bed and beautiful decor. We had breakfast one of the mornings which was very reasonable and absolutely delicious. It was about a 10 minute straight walk into the centre of Cheltenham. We would 100% stay again 💞”
“My daughter and husband chose this as their wedding venue. We had the most amazing day. The venue certainly did not disappoint. The lounges were comfy and classic and the bedrooms were stunning. The room where the reception was held was rustic and the food amazing. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for looking after us so well and helping make the day so special. We will definitely be back for a meal in the future”
“A fantastic experience for our wedding ceremony and drinks reception. Alisdair, Ben and Remi and the team were absolutely brilliant in all aspects of our wedding day from the planning to organising everything on the day. Super easy going, very chilled and relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. It was exactly what we were looking for in our venue. Their communication was fantastic throughout. The rooms were lovely, our guests commented on their decor and style and the breakfasts were great as well. Hermes our dog particularly loved the dog bed. Thank you all so much Matt & Sammy”
