Pembrokeshire
Farm Life, Gloriously Reimagined
Where Georgian elegance meets the honest soul of the Welsh countryside.
Tucked into the wild, windswept landscapes of Pembrokeshire, Crug Glas is a Georgian farmhouse of rare and wonderful character. This is no mere countryside retreat — it is a living, breathing working farm, where the rhythms of rural Welsh life unfold around you with an authenticity that no amount of interior design can manufacture. The handsome Georgian bones of the property lend it a graceful elegance, while the individually appointed bedrooms ensure that each guest's experience feels entirely their own, personal and unhurried.
What sets Crug Glas apart, beyond its pastoral setting and architectural charm, is its delightful refusal to be easily categorised. Where else might you find yourself watching cattle graze across dew-laden fields in the morning, before slipping into an on-site hairdressing salon to emerge polished and perfectly composed for dinner? It is precisely this kind of charming idiosyncrasy that defines the very best of British hospitality — pragmatic, warm, and utterly without pretension.
For those who seek something genuinely singular in their travels, Crug Glas delivers with quiet confidence. Pembrokeshire itself is one of Wales's most spectacular counties, all coastal drama and ancient hedgerows, and this farmhouse sits within it like a well-kept secret. Come for the landscape, stay for the stories — and leave, perhaps, with freshly styled hair and a heart considerably lighter than when you arrived.

What They Say
“We are so glad that we chose Crug Glas to be our wedding venue. From start to finish the staff (especially Sandra) could not have been more friendly and accommodating. No question was too small, we were able to visit and take measurements for the decorations and they were extremely helpful with vendor suggestions. On the day everything was perfect. The warmth and hospitality from every member of staff we met from the owner to the chef was amazing. We had multiple guests commenting on how fantastic the food was and the vast quantity of it. We also really appreciated Sandra bringing us food all day as being the bride and groom you just forget to eat! The grounds are wonderful and we were lucky enough to have our wedding outside under the trees and my bridesmaid pictures in amongst the wild flowers. We had about 120 guests in total and there was plenty of space for everyone sat down as well as decorations and in the evening (once 3 tables had been expertly and effortlessly removed) a great space for a Scottish ceilidh and 3 piece band. If you are considering Crug Glas for a wedding venue/ weekend getaway or a special occasion dinner you will not be disappointed. Photos by Angharad Thomas photography”
“We recently celebrated our wedding at Crug Glas, and it was nothing short of perfect. From start to finish, the entire experience was truly magical. The venue itself is stunning, full of character and warmth, and provided the ideal backdrop for the best day of our lives. A particularly special mention must go to Sandra. She was an absolute dream to work with — calm, organised, thoughtful, and completely dedicated to making our day everything we hoped it would be. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She went above and beyond at every turn, and we genuinely don’t know what we would have done without her support and kindness. The food was absolutely incredible, hats off to Dom, and we were able to choose exactly what we wanted with no fuss whatsoever. I still have people telling me they still dream of that beef dinner! Thank you, Crug Glas, for giving us a day we’ll cherish forever — and thank you, Sandra, for being the heart of it all.”
“Absolutely lovely two night stay at this beautifully presented farmhouse. Our room was spacious and charming. Dinner was pretty much outstanding...huge compliments to the chef. Easy walk to the coastline. Thank you 😊.”
“Crug Glas is such a fantastic venue for live music! The space, atmosphere, and team all come together to create the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration. Our bands always love performing here. The acoustics are great, the staff are incredibly welcoming, and every event feels personal and full of joy. It’s a pleasure to be part of such memorable occasions in such a beautiful Pembrokeshire venue.”
