What they say
“I cannot say enough amazing things about the Holiday Inn Express in Litchfield. I stayed the night before my wedding, and the experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Mike on reception was incredible — so calm, kind, and genuinely helpful at a moment when nerves were running high. He went completely above and beyond by fixing my phone for me, which was such a relief and meant more than he probably knows. His professionalism and warmth truly stood out. The service throughout the stay was outstanding, and the breakfast the next morning was amazing — fresh, plentiful, and exactly what was needed after a big day. Every member of staff made us feel welcome and well looked after. I honestly can’t fault a single thing. Thank you to Mike and the entire team for making such an important night stress-free and memorable. I would 100% recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.”
“Room was basic but clean. Mattress was old hard and lumpy. Staff were very nice. £18 Lasagna was cheap and nasty like a microwave supermarket job. Chips were odd, rubbery and some hard! Hot breakfast offerings were abysmal. I'd say acceptable for a couple of nights but go out for dinner and breakfast.”
“We came to stay here for a night before our Christmas Carol event. Sarah at the reception was very kind and accommodating. She gave us a smooth check in experience and was kind enough to give us a late check out as well. Sarah definitely is an asset to the team and the hotel.”
“We have tried several hotels in the area and without doubt this is our favourite. Reception is clean, well lit and welcoming with very helpful staff. The rooms are well equipped with al you need including free Wifi. After a good night's sleep there is a good buffet breakfast in the bar area. We always look forward to staying there.”
“Bus service from Lichfield doesn't run after 6pm, but obviously this isn't a problem if you've got a car. Comfortable bed in the room, great choices at breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. A special thank you to James, who went above and beyond with his customer care when he found out we had just come from a family funeral.”
